MQB 2.0 GROUNDING KIT (NON ROW)

This grounding kit  is designed  to provide a simple solution for a common problem on the MQB EA888.3 Platform.   The OEM aluminum valve cover is soft and has a tendency to strip out causing a bad grounding point.  This kit eliminates that issue by wiring direct to the coil plug and doing away with the oem grounding wire.

With this kit you can easily get away from that ugly oem bold for the coils and dress up your engine a bit with a nice M6x1.0 thread pitch bolt.

OE Hardware is N91229201 and measures 45mm UHL (Under Head Length) and 12mm OHL (Over Head Length). To replace this stud with an appropriate size bolt you would want M6x1.0 x 45mm. You may also use a 40mm length if you chose but it's a touch short.
